Sormac SC940 Continuous Dryer Operating Principle

The product is gently delivered into the centrifuge drum during a slow rotating filling cycle. This controlled infeed system evenly distributes the product across the entire drum circumference while minimising unnecessary movement and pressure on delicate leaves.

Once the drum is filled, the centrifuge accelerates to the pre-set drying speed according to the selected product program. After the programmed spin cycle is completed, the drum slows down, and the dried product gently gravitates toward the discharge conveyor.

During discharge, a high-pressure air knife automatically removes remaining leaf particles from the drum, ensuring efficient cleaning before the next continuous production cycle begins.

The spacious drum design and carefully controlled product layer thickness significantly reduce product compression and damage during drying.
