Forsfood Profiler for Precision Vegetable Ball Shaping

The Forsfood Profiler is an advanced vegetable ball shaping machine designed to create perfectly uniform spherical products from potatoes, carrots, apples, melons and other fruits and vegetables. Using patented shaping technology, it converts irregular or cube-shaped raw materials into smooth, consistent balls that enhance product presentation and maximise value.

Available in both the ProXL and ProX models, the Forsfood Profiler is suitable for a wide range of production capacities, from smaller food processing operations to fully automated industrial production lines. The machine operates without water during the shaping process, helping to reduce water consumption while maintaining excellent product quality.

Pre-peeled raw materials provide the highest capacity, improve the finish of the final product, and extend the life of the shaping rolls. With finished product diameters ranging from 17 mm to 57 mm, the Forsfood Profiler offers exceptional flexibility for a variety of food processing applications.

FORSFOOD ProXL

The FORSFOOD ProXL profiler is designed from stainless steel and aluminium (anodised). The structure is robust, and the profiler is normally installed on a production line.

The feeding of the raw material into the profiler is the most important issue when designing a successful production line. In front of the profiler, we recommend a good conveyor belt (with speed control) and the internal feeding in the machine is performed with a vibratory feeder (included as standard).

The ProXL profiler can also be equipped with an external push feeder that can replace the vibratory feeder and the conveyor.

The ProXL requires frequency converters to control the speed of the lifting and peeling rolls, as well as for the control of the vibratory feeder. The possibility to control all speeds separately gives the advantage of using the profiler for various products and sizes.

For the removal of the secondary product, we recommend a pump installed under the machine. When producing balls from a pre-peeled product of a good size, the quantity of the secondary product may be almost the same as the primary product produced.

FORSFOOD PROX

The FORSFOOD ProX is designed from aluminium (anodised) and stainless steel. The profiler is suitable for smaller installations with a ready product production capacity of up to 150 kg/ hour.

The ProX profilers are suitable for producing balls sized between 17 and 33 mm.

The feeding of the raw material into the ProX is important for successful production results. It is recommended to place a good speed-controlled conveyor in front of the profiler.

Raw materials, such as potatoes and carrots (cut), can be successfully used. Cube-shaped raw materials can also be used.

It is recommended to pre-peel all the raw materials before use. Pre-peeled raw material improves the quality of the final product, increases the capacity and extends the user-life of the cutting edges on the shaping rolls.

After the shaping process, it is recommended that the products be washed.

For the removal of the secondary product, we recommend the installation of a pump or some other transportation system underneath the machine. When producing balls from a pre-peeled product of a good size, the quantity of the secondary product may be almost the same as the primary product produced.

The ProX is not recommended to be used with soft materials such as melons.
